1950s Mexican Hand Painted Matador Skirt - small
One of the most beautiful and detailed Mexican skirts from the ‘50s that I’ve seen! Done in cream cotton with hand painted scenes of matadors and bulls, hats, and flowers, all covered with sequin embellishment. Red sequin detail at the waist, black detailing throughout, and blue trim at the hem. Fitted waist and full shape. Metal zipper at the side, unlined.
Condition: Great vintage condition, a bit of subtle discoloration throughout that is not noticeable when worn due to the intricate print.
Brand: Londy of Mexico
Estimated Modern Size: S
Waist: 26-27” (two sets of hooks at the waist)
Length Waist to Hem: 26”
