Really cool pair of navy shorts dated 1952. I love the tag: “Skirts Divided”. These look like U.S. Navy issue shorts to me but the tag reads Derwent Manufacturing so they could have been made for another similar type of uniform. Really flattering style that sits high on the waist, v-shaped waistband, side buttons, and wide legs. Unlined.
