All items are measured while the garment is laying flat and are displayed in inches. Each item will also include an estimated modern size. To ensure a good fit, we recommend comparing the measurements listed to a garment that you already own and that fits you well.
Measurements are taken as follows:
Shoulder - Across the shoulder from seam to seam
Bust - Across the chest from armpit to armpit, then doubled.
Waist - Across the natural waist at the smallest point, then doubled
Hip - Across the hip (approximately 8 inches below the waist), then doubled
Sleeve length- Length along the seam from armpit to hem Sleeve circumference: Across the bicep of the arm or sleeve opening, then doubled
Length - From the top of the shoulder to the hem Rise: From crotch to waist Inseam: From crotch to pant hem
